Our retreat is the hand picked Jasper house, Located at the head of the beautiful Hiriketiya bay Jasper house has a range of rooms from pool view to ocean view. This intimate retreat is solely for our group. You have the option for twin share, double or single.
Each room at Jasper is unique. Most of the rooms are open air and will feature a beautiful open air bathroom. The Deluxe Pool Rooms are more private with closed bathrooms and full closure. Each room features a King Bed and there is Wifi throughout the hotel. The rooms are fitted with locally produced furnishings and fittings mixed with antiques and art deco features.
Some of the rooms look out toward the ocean and many of the rooms have sweeping views of the coconut grove on the headland. Open rooms provide a sitting area with lounge and coffee table which make for an amazing breakfast spot.
Courtyard Deluxe Rooms provide a nice setting with a private ground floor courtyard and the option for an AC room.
Each day our own chef will come and provide beautiful nourishing food. There is a choice of vegetarian or seafood.. The retreat includes three meals a day.

This retreat aims to connect you back into your purpose, or your reason for being here. It will ask questions and invite contemplation. It will encourage you to set your vision, to make the most of the time here you have on this earth and to channel your energy into the things in life that are most important to you.
The intention of this retreat is to help people reconnect back to their yoga practice and therefore their life.. It is suitable for those starting out in yoga or who have practiced on and off as well as more seasoned yogis wanting to have a break from the busyness of life. The sessions are designed with therapy in mind not only for the body but the heart and mind. Attend one or all of them, this is your time out and there is no obligations to do it all but to do what you love and what makes you feel good.

Nico will lead you through intelligent sequencing and alignment based therapeutic movement. Each day will focus on a different area of the body or function of yoga. Nico will teach you breathing techniques to relieve stress, move energy and show you how to use breath to enliven or calm you. He will teach you how we can use meditation as a tool to give focus, clarity and purpose to your life. Each session is designed to move energy in a focussed and intelligent way to give the body more balance, more energy and more freedom in movement.
yin/restorative/nidra/myofacial release/gentle movement led by Gabrielle Harris.
Gabrielle will take you more into stillness and deepness with quiet well thought out gentle movement, yin and restoratives all offered with a dose of philosophy and insightful wording and yoga philosophy. This will help you learn more about yourself and gain insight into the way yoga plays out in your daily life. The nourishing classes are designed to heal the body mind and heart using postures and techniques that will take you into a great understanding of how you can soothe, help and heal yourself to create harmony within.
Teachers will swap morning and evening teaching sessions to give you a range of practices.

5:00-6:15 yin meditation nidra restorative yoga
Gabrielle imparts her infectious love for yoga and spirit into each of her carefully designed classes. Having been trained in various traditions for over ten years she brings knowledge, wisdom and a love for living yoga in real life to her teachings.
Her classes are an inspiring and a thought provoking combination of posture and philosophy to help students look beyond their skin and bones. She brings a sense of lightness, wisdom and wit to all her classes.
Gabrielle hosts yoga teachers from around the world and brings together the yoga community in her home town. Her love for the practice of yin yoga prompted her to write ‘The Language of Yin’ which is a guide for teaching and practicing yin. The book features in the top twenty best selling books on Amazon. Her writing has been featured in Yoga Journal, MindBodyGreen and Elephant Journal.
Gabrielle can be found teaching at Abundance Mind Body Porirua.
Nico is a 500 hour certified yogi and international trainer who has been teaching yoga since 2003. His love for Eastern philosophy, spirituality and anatomy are all weaved skilfully into his teaching. His style is eclectic, drawing on his study with some of the top teachers in Hatha, Anusara, Vinyasa, Yin and Power Yoga and Pilates.

Two sessions per day.
7 nights accommodation in twin share or double bed. ( Please note as this retreat is small preference is given to those sharing or who wish to share.)

Airport Pick up and drop off:
you will be met at the airport and taken to the venue on arrival, Please note this is group travel in mini vans. If you need private transport either to or from the venue there is a surcharge of $80 USD. The mini van will meet the flight from New Zealand in Colombo.
