Please note this retreat is sold out - 2019 dates announced soon.

Dates: 29th June-6th July 2018 (7 Nights)

Join Gabrielle Harris for a week of unplugging. This retreat is for those who want to get away, spend time with themselves, deepen their yoga practice and connect with nature. With only ten participants you will also get to meet other like minded people in an intimate and refreshing retreat. The retreat is aimed at anyone who needs to ‘fill-up’ and recharge themselves. The yoga is simple but deep and you will practice the time honoured techniques of meditation, breathing and yoga postures in a combination that will leave you wanting more. By the end of the seven days you will have experienced more fully the power of yoga and it’s ability to shift things within us both in a physical, mental and emotional sense. All my  classes are laden with life philosophy so you may garner some effective takeaways as to how to live your life, more simply, with acceptance and generosity of heart.

The Yoga:

Yin, Restorative, Gentle Movement

Twice a day there will be gentle yoga suitable for all levels and those who have not done yoga before. The intention is to stretch and open the body and restore it. We spend so much of our lives pushing, trying to move forward that these classes will be to reverse the busyness, the rush and to fill you up so you can go back to your life with more vigour more energy, not more depleted. Yin Yoga is a style of yoga where the poses are mainly seated and held for a bit longer than normal. It is a practice to negate stiffness in the body and to encourage softness of the mind. There will also be mediation and simple breathing exercises and a takeaway sheet for home practice. The morning practice will combine some simple movements to lubricate the joints and open the body. The evening practice will be quietening down to encourage a beautiful restful night’s sleep. The yoga is not compulsory. It is an additional offering to complement the day’s activities.
